Which stock should you invest in next?
Let me present to you the 'mineral of the future', Lithium!
This metal is the basic component for the manufacture of cell phone batteries, computers, electric cars and all kinds of other electronic devices. It is destined to take a more prominent position in the industry and that is why it is now becoming an increasingly attractive mineral for large investors.
The price of lithium carbonate (the most consumed lithium component in the world) reached the US at $7,000 per ton in 2016. The demand for batteries has been increasing thanks to the growth in the production of electronic devices that use them and will continue to grow as an efficient source of clean energy.
Now, how should you invest in this precious metal? The way to invest in lithium is quite simply to buy shares of the companies that produce it. The investment is almost guaranteed future proof given the reliance on electric vehicles replacing those powered by petroleum or diesel.
It is estimated that by 2020, 8,000,000 hybrid and electric cars will be produced annually and that about 60% of these cars will use lithium-based batteries. This is one of the reasons why lithium has been listed as the mineral of the future.
Having into account the previous paragraphs, the companies that you should have an eye on are the following:
- FMC Corp
- Albemarle Corp.
- Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile
- LG Chem Ltd.
- GS Yuasa Corp.
- Panasonic Corp.
- Samsung SDI Co. Ltd.
- BYD Co. Ltd
Hope you all found value in this article! My favourite out of the Lot would definitely be FMC Corp shares which line up with a great technical setup at the moment as shown above in the screenshot! Looking for this to reach highs at 98.00!...
